Evans J. R. Revere is Senior Director with the Albright Stonebridge Group, a leading global strategy firm, where he advises U.S. clients with a special focus on Korea, Japan, and China. He is also the Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution’s Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies. During 2010-2011 he was Diplomat-in-Residence and Lecturer in International Affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. From 2007 to 2010 he was President/CEO of The Korea Society, and helped organize the historic 2008 concert in Pyongyang by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2007, he retired after a 35-year career in government service, most of that as an American diplomat and one of the State Department’s top Asia experts. Today, he remains deeply engaged in Asia-related issues as an active participant in Track II and Track I ½ dialogues involving U.S. relations with East Asia.
