On Tuesday, June 9th, the NCAFP had the pleasure of hosting LTG (ret.) H.R. McMaster for a wide-ranging discussion on the changing policy landscape amid the current pandemic. General McMaster was the 26th assistant to the president for National Security Affairs. He concurrently served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army for thirty-four years before retiring as a Lieutenant General in June 2018. He is a 1984 graduate of the United States Military Academy and received his PhD in military history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
