On February 26, 2015, the NCAFP held a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges in U.S.-Russia relations and the geopolitical implications of recent developments.

This panel featured Dr. Jonathan Chanis, Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs, School for International and Public Affairs, Columbia University & Managing Member, New Tide Asset Management; in conversation with Natasha Udensiva, J.D., Managing Partner, Eurasia Energy Associates & Lecturer of International Affairs at the School for International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. The panel was moderated by Jill Dougherty, Public Policy Scholar, Kennan Institute, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, who is also Former U.S. Affairs Editor for CNN International; Managing Editor of CNN International Asia/Pacific, based in Hong Kong; and CNN's Moscow Bureau Chief and Correspondent.
