A participant joins the conversation
September 26 saw the National Committee on American Foreign Policy host a high-level roundtable featuring H.E. Dr. Vaira Vike-Freiberga, former President of Latvia, and current President of the Club de Madrid/World Leadership Alliance. Amid the clamor of UN General Assembly week in New York City, the roundtable drew the participation of NCAFP Patron and Sponsor members, former officials, and business leaders.
Dr. Vike-Freiberga spoke on the subject of New Generation Democracy and fielded a wide array of questions and comments from the meeting's participants. This candid off-the-record conversation is just one example of the many and varied programs hosted by the NCAFP.
