The National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) hosted a U.S.-Japan-Russia Trilateral Conference in New York from March 14-15, 2018. The conference marked the third time U.S., Japanese and Russian experts have engaged in dialogue in this format, the first time in March 2016 in New York and the second in March 2017 in Moscow. The objective of the dialogue is to explore ways to manage the policy differences between the U.S., Japan and Russia and to examine possible areas of cooperation in the Asia Pacific, in particular in Northeast Asia.
