Join the NCAFP as we host Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, the Kurdistan Regional Government Representative to the United States. Key to her role are strengthening ties between Kurdistan and the United States, advocating her government’s position on a wide array of political, security, humanitarian, economic, and cultural matters and promoting coordination and partnership. Prior to her US appointment in 2015, Ms. Abdul Rahman was the High Representative to the United Kingdom. She was elected to the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 2010.  Ms. Abdul Rahman will discuss a wide range of issues relating to Kurdistan and Iraq, and is open to questions from the audience.

The event will be conducted via the video conferencing platform Zoom, which works on PC, Mac, or mobile devices. You do not need to create an account to use it. Guests will have the option to join the meeting through the Zoom application, or by calling in by phone.

In order to streamline the Q&A portion of the conversation, all guests will be muted and have their video feeds disabled.  We ask that all questions be submitted through Zoom's Q&A function.  If you don't wish to use this feature, or will join by phone, please submit questions in advance or real time to contact@ncafp.org.
