Dr. John Delury is an assistant professor of International Studies at Yonsei University in South Korea. Prior to joining Yonsei, Dr. Delury was the Associate Director of Asia Society's Center on U.S.-China Relations, where he also served as Director of the China Boom Project and Director of the North Korea Inside Out Task Force. He taught Chinese history and politics as visiting assistant professor in the history department at Brown University, and taught political theory at Peking University in 2006, after a year of graduate studies in Beijing. He is a 2009 recipient of the 21st Century Leader Award from the National Committee on American Foreign Policy.
