The NCAFP continued its Track II videoconferences in April with a discussion among participants from the US, the PRC and Taiwan. In advance of Tsai Ing-wen's second inaugural ceremony and amid the acute stresses and geopolitical drama of the international pandemic response, the NCAFP's Forum on Asia-Pacific Security convened prominent scholars and former officials from all three sides to assess the opportunities and challenges in cross-Strait relations over the next few months.
