The Forum on Asia-Pacific Security (FAPS) hosted two days of Track 1.5 meetings in Beijing in October 2015. The U.S.-Japan-China trilateral meeting took place as diplomacy between Japan and China was progressing slowly towards a restoration of trust and predictability between the two governments.
